die serie move beginnt im jahr 2021 mit der neuinterpretation meiner bis dahin über 16 jahre gesammelten theaterfotografien, in denen ich regelmässig bühnenraum, personen und handlungen im fotografischen bildraum verdichtet habe. in move abstrahiere ich das motiv aus dem konkreten bühnenstück und reduziere es auf seinen theatralen kern von licht, raum und bewegung. die so von mir gearbeiteten theaterbilder öffnen einen neuen, freieren interpretations- und deutungsraum.
jetzt, ein jahr später erweitere ich die serie move. es finden weitere bildbewegungen – von kamera-, scanner- bis hin zu datenbewegungen – dort ihren platz, die strukturelle neuinterpretationen des real gesehenen zeigen. die bandbreite geht von dekonstruktion, neukonstruktion bis hin zur völligen zerstörung des realen. allen arbeiten gemeinsam ist der grundklang der acht, der die oberfläche gliedert und die zuvor klassische fotografische geste mit standort-, perspektiv- und motivwahl im realem raum.
jedes motiv der neuen arbeiten gibt es in vier grössen: einteilig (64x64cm, auflage 8), vierteilig (128x128cm, auflage 4), 16 teilig (256x256cm, auflage 2) und 64 teilig (512x512cm, auflage 1)

the series move begins in 2021 with the reinterpretation of my theater photographs, collected over 16 years, in which i regularly condensed stage space, people and actions in photographic image space. in move i abstract the motif from the concrete stage play and reduce it to its theatrical core of light, space and movement. the theater images i create in this way open up a new, freer space for interpretation and interpretation.
now, one year later, i expand the series move. further image movements – from camera-, scanner- to data-movements – find their place there, showing structural reinterpretations of the real seen. the bandwidth goes from deconstruction, reconstruction to the complete destruction of the real. common to all works is the basic sound of eight, structuring the surface and the previously classical photographic gesture with choice of location, perspective and motif in the real space.
