Am 7. Dezember 2022 war Falk Baron Rausch von Traubenberg alias falk.brvt bei uns am Marktplatz (C-Gebäude), um im Rahmen der Vortragsreihe POSITION.EN – Rückblicke. Ausblicke. Weitblicke der
Studiengänge Architektur von seiner Karriere als Architektur (kurz) und freischaffender Künstler (lang) zu berichten. Fotografie ist sein wichtigstes Ausdrucksmittel. Wie ein Code wirkt der Rahmen, den falk.brvt dabei um sich und seine Kunst geschaffen hat. Das geometrische Quadrat spielt eine sehr wichtige Rolle, ebenso die Mathematik, fundamentiert in der Zahl acht, auf der sein ganzes Konzept aufbaut. Alles ist dabei genau durchdacht, präzise, ohne Raum für Zufall oder Ausschuss. Acht mal acht Jahre will er künstlerisch tätig sein, bis zu seinem 86sten Lebensjahr. In einer Rückgriffs- und Rückblicksfolge(1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 Jahre) integriert und transformiert er Teile seiner früheren Arbeiten in dieses prozesshafte und kontinuierliche Gesamtwerk. Wir danken für die inspirierende Werkschau und die Reise durch 64 Jahre, die noch lange nicht am Ende angekommen ist.

play/drive and concept/delusion –
photography as boundary experience

On December 7, 2022, Falk Baron Rausch von Traubenberg aka falk.brvt was with us at the Marktplatz (C-Building) to give a talk as part of the lecture series POSITION.EN – Reviews. Outlooks. Farsightedness of the Architecture courses to talk about his career as an architect (short) and freelance artist (long). Photography is his most important means of expression. The framework that falk.brvt has created around himself and his art seems like a code. The geometric square plays a very important role, as does mathematics, founded in the number eight, on which his entire concept is based. Everything is carefully thought out, precise, with no room for chance or waste. He wants to be artistically active eight times eight years, until he is 86 years old. In a recourse and retrospective sequence(1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 years) he integrates and transforms parts of his earlier works into this processual and continuous complete work. We thank you for the inspiring show of works and the journey through 64 years, which is far from having reached its end.
